Kinsmen Club of Lindsay: Growing and Giving in 2026
As we wrap up another successful Kin year, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year for the Kinsmen Club of Lindsay. As of June 30th, our official Kin year came to a close, and after a well-deserved summer break, we're looking forward to kicking off another exciting year on September 1st.
We are proud to have grown to 14 dedicated members, each bringing enthusiasm, friendship, and a shared commitment to making our community a better place. Our club continues to grow stronger thanks to the passion and dedication of our volunteers.
This past year was filled with memorable events and meaningful accomplishments. Our 14th Annual Touch a Truck event was another tremendous success, bringing families together for a day of fun while helping us raise funds for local causes. We were also honoured to host the Zone C Kin Conference in Lindsay, welcoming fellow Kin members from across the region for a weekend of fellowship and learning.
Throughout the year, our fundraising efforts remained strong through community BBQs, weekly bingos, our annual Toy Drive, and several other events. These activities allow us to continue supporting organizations and projects that make a real difference in Kawartha Lakes.
Among the highlights of the year was presenting donations to both the United Way of Kawartha Lakes and Soroptimist International of Kawartha Lakes, helping these outstanding organizations continue the important work they do within our community.
Beyond fundraising, we've shared countless moments of friendship, volunteerism, and community spirit. Whether serving at local events, organizing fundraisers, or simply enjoying time together as a club, every experience reinforces why we are proud to be Kinsmen.
As we prepare to begin a new Kin year this September, we're excited about the opportunities ahead. We look forward to welcoming new members, supporting more community initiatives, and continuing our tradition of "Serving the Community's Greatest Need."
