Kin Kindness Day

Kin Kindness Day is about celebrating the spirit of community — the neighbours, volunteers, and supporters who make everything we do possible.

In recognition of 2026 Kin Kindness Day, our club was honoured to donate $5,000 to the Community Soup Kitchen/Sunday Supper Program hosted by St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. This important program provides warm meals, fellowship, and support to members of our community who need it most.

On February 16th, Kinsmen members joined the Soup Kitchen team, working side-by-side with dedicated volunteers to greet guests and serve meals Sharing time, conversation, and compassion with guests reminded us that community is built through simple acts of kindness and connection.

Kin Canada celebrates Kin Kindness Day each February as a way to give back and say thank you for the tremendous support we receive from our community throughout the year.

Together, we continue to make a difference — one act of kindness at a time.

Kinsmen Big Blue Barrels

Nov. 12 - Dec 19

🌟 Thank You for a Successful Holiday Season! 🎁

A heartfelt thank you from the Kinsmen Club of Lindsay! We are incredibly grateful for all the support that made the 2025 Lindsay Kinsmen Toy Drive a resounding success! 🎉

Thanks to our generous community and the amazing retailers who hosted our Big Blue Toy Barrels, we were able to collect an abundance of new, unwrapped toys that brought joy and smiles to children in need this Christmas! 🎄✨

Your kindness and support truly made a difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Every toy collected helped spread holiday magic and ensured that every child felt the warmth of the season. 💙

Thank you once again for your generosity and for being such a vital part of our community. We can’t wait to share more joyful moments together in the future! 🎅🏼🤶🏽

Toy Mountain

🎄 We were excited to invite everyone to join us at Canadian Tire Lindsay, located at 377 Kent Street West, as we filled our Kinsmen barrels with toys for deserving families in Lindsay and the Kawartha Lakes this Christmas! 🌟

Many brought new, unwrapped toys or made cash donations to help over 1,000 children in the City of Kawartha Lakes who rely on the Kinsmen Toy Drive each year. A special thank you to the amazing team at Canadian Tire for allowing us to host this important event right outside their store entrance!

We were thrilled to have Y91.9 live joining us for this special day, and a big shoutout to Lindsay Movers & Storage for generously offering to pick up the donated toys and deliver them after the event. Many special guests stopped by throughout the day! 🎉

Despite the cold and windy weather, lots of people braved the elements and came out to donate. We were there from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and we are so grateful for everyone's support in making this holiday season brighter for those in need. Thank you to everyone who participated! 🎁✨
